Contest Information

Community of the Month is a monthly contest where members can vote on whose website or forum most deserves recognition. This contest merges two contests which we have previously held into a single contest, bringing a new take on this classic staple of Forum Promotion.

Each month, forums/sites are submitted from the 1st to the 15th, and voted on between the 15th and the 31st. Any site can be submitted, and the site with the most votes wins that month.

Voting Rules
  • You must have made at least 15 posts on FP within the past three months to vote in CoTM.
  • You may only vote for one of the sites listed below.
  • You may not vote for a site that you submitted to CoTM.
  • You may not vote for a site you are an administrator on.
  • You may not ask others to vote for a site you own, or are an administrator on.
  • You may not create duplicate accounts, or use others' accounts, to vote for a site.
  • Any other tactic to gain additional votes may result in the votes being discounted, and/or further action.
Contest Prizes
  • Advertisements: The winning site will be featured on the Community Billboard for two months.
  • Sticky: Your Promotion Directory topic will be stickied for two months.
  • Recognition: A medal will be displayed on each post you make on FP for one month.
  • Free Service: You will receive one free service of your choice on FP.

Really? an discord server on the list. This is an community forum based websites can not have discords since all discords servers are the same.

Sorry but I See that now discords are taken over and making forums even more dead

If the administrators allowed it to be on the list, then I'm sure it's fine.

I don't quite understand what you're trying to argue, but let's face it: instantaneous communication is becoming the new norm. Forums are increasingly becoming obsolete since new applications like Discord allow users to communicate seamlessly within its ecosystem while offering a plethora of quality features, including superb security, easy permissions, beautiful design, a large community base, and much more. Contrary to your claim, I think that all Discords have their own unique eccentricities despite the cookie-cutter appearance. It's what matters on the inside, whether it be their main focus, the community, or its branding, similar to the case with forums.

Anyway, I vote for LazyForums.

Just saying my point of view 🙂 Discord is good and I use it allot for talking with other people regards to gaming and Discord is an server based not an website. It's not like joining an forum

My vote goes to CUTE

just letting you know, considering you been in here twice, you did not vote (yet) unless you were planning to do later on, i don't know but yeah 😛
I was waiting to the last secound 😛 And now you messed me up by voting 500 million seconds early 😛

Voting is now closed. 🙂 Official results will be calculated and posted this evening.

Tally:
- LazyForums: 5
- CUTE: 4

LazyForums is the winner! Rewards will be dispensed within 48 hours.

And to clarify by the way, yeah, social pages and chat servers may be entered into CoTM, along with any other reasonable community that follows the content policy.
