Welcome to Community of the Month! 👋

Community of the Month is a monthly contest where members can vote on whose website or forum most deserves recognition. This contest merges two contests that we have previously held into a single contest, bringing a new take on this classic staple of Forum Promotion.

Typically, forums/sites are submitted from the 1st to the 15th and voted on between the 16th and the 31st.

  • You must have 15 posts on Forum Promotion to submit a site.
  • For a site to be accepted, its owner (or an administrator) must be a member of the Forum Promotion community.
  • You are allowed to submit as many sites or forums you want per month, so long as you are said owner or administrator of the site or forum.
  • All sites submitted must follow FP's acceptable content policy.
  • We reserve the right to accept or decline any site submitted to CoTM.
  • When a site wins CoTM, it cannot be submitted again by any member, for another two months.

  • Advertisements: The winning site will be featured on the Community Billboard for one month.
  • Sticky: Your Promotion Directory topic will be stickied for one month.
  • Free Service: You will receive one free Posting Package Service of your choice on FP (except Graphics).
  • Reviews: You will receive a free review of your site. (If you would like one)

Introducing an added bonus for our winner: an in-depth, detailed review (if you would like one). Our review will cover several key aspects to provide a comprehensive evaluation:

  1. First Impressions on Theme and Styling: We’ll dive into the initial vibe your forum gives off. Is it visually appealing? Does it match the intended theme? We’ll explore how the colors, fonts, and overall design elements come together.
  2. Member/Forum Activity: We’ll take a look at the engagement around your forum. Are members engaged? Is there a healthy amount of activity and interaction? We’ll assess how active the community is.
  3. Grammar & Spelling: We’ll put our grammar hats on and check for spelling mistakes and grammatical errors. Clear, error-free communication is crucial, and we’ll see how well your forum measures up.
  4. Originality: We value creativity and uniqueness. We’ll evaluate how original your content and ideas are, and how you stand out from the crowd.
  5. Navigation & Layout: A user-friendly forum is a happy forum. We’ll assess how easy it is to navigate your site, how well the layout works, and if users can find what they’re looking for without any hassle.

This template may change on case-by-case community.

Once we’ve covered these areas, we’ll provide a brief summary of our thoughts and observations. And of course, we’ll give you a score to reflect your overall performance.
