I recommend making the banner have a transparent background, make it a bit smaller, and choose a better font. You could also add maybe a few icons to the banner so it is not just text on the banner. Also, the forum looks like FP, the same "Basic Promotion" and "Auction House" etc. The slogan is also almost the same.
One tip, if you were to make it more community based, so that it isn't just about promotion, and such, I would suggest some more focused areas of possible discussion. For example, you could turn your gaming forum, into a category, with multitude of various forums that you can discuss in, about things like PC, X-Box, Wii, Nintendo, Playstation, and other items.
