I'm planning to run a good competition, which is a posting one, i have no clue of what to give members in return.
Any ideas?

Do you have any sort of VIP status on your site? You could give them that for a month or if you have a forum cash system you could give the winner a set amount. Otherwise, since your funds are limited, it'd probably be best to go the route of making something for the winner.

Or you could try to find someone to sponsor the competition for you, so they would pay for the prize or give you something to give away.
