Number of Members: 5/10 - I am quite confused so i might change this later. According to the member-list there was a period of about 6 week between when the admin signed up and when the first member signed up. There might be a reason why like pruned members, started it forgot about it and started it again. This rating is based on it being open form day 1. Not many members really in the time you have been open although it does seem to be getting more active with 6 members signing up in the past 2 days. Number of Active Members: 8.5/10 - All your members have posted although there still is a few who have only posted a few and all but isome have been active in the last week. Number of Posts (spam or otherwise): 6/10 - Again judging by the time you have been open there is not many posts really. Possibly go through the forums and start as many topics as possible. Even if you think it looks stupid posting 5 new topics in each forum. This will help the quieter members and new members to maybe come out of the woodwork a bit and start posting then it would maybe give them some more confidence and would start posting more. It will help make you forum look more active which would help attract members. Appearance (first impressions): 3/10 - Sorry for the low rating but i really do hate that skin. I find it really annoying and it looks like you have left a 4 year old with a pack a crayons and went draw a template. If you have more template available to choose form in the profile then that would be better for people like me as i could change it to something i like better. You sill have a "Test" rank at the bottom of the forum which could do with deleting as well. Layout: 9/10 - Layout wise i think you forum is great. You don't have too many forums although i would recommend adding new forums as your forum grows bigger. Moderation: 9/10 Seems well moderated. You have 2 admins which is enough i feel at the moment. Activity: 8/10 seems quite active now but if i was you i would work a bit more on posting new topics and promoting your forum. Don't give up promoting either. Quite often people post it once and no one signs up then they give up. If you don't give up and give it time it will be a success. Overall mark (out of 100): 70/100 - You have great potential however for me it is let down by the chosen template.
I will change the rating abit if there is a reason why there is a big gap in the members.
The amount of members was low for a long time due to the board being left as I concentrated on a local News board. Now however Promotion is taking place (as mentioned on new members).
The template...JeanieBeanie requested something childish and naughty hence the template.
Personally I like the one selected for a user who is visually impaired he has one similar to this, but the template suits the spirit of the sites ethos.
Agree on the number of forums, I have commented on the fact not everything will remain fun and one day you may get serious topics or flamers or trolls. She is already considering titles for a forum like this.
