Computer magazines were a hit back in the 1990s! Did you subscribe to any back then? Are there any still publishing these days?

We had subscriptions to MANY such as PC Magazine, PC World, Information Week, and WIRED.

I might pick up a gaming magazine once in a blue moon if the front covers lights my eyes 😛

I used to get the Empire film mag each month 🙂 till online became more famous.

I love magazines , I often get them out of the library

one thing my library offers is digital Magazines online
so I don't ever have to buy a magazine these days I can get free though
library platform RBDigital witch is cool

Whenever I go to a well-stocked newsstand I see that there are still issues of really interesting magazines on tech, web, web design etc. I keep forgetting those exist, but I bet they are full of really cool articles that would be hard to come by online!

They are still around and yet at times with most people doing online more than buying books, how they are still going 😛

Then again most reviews and articles are people that are like me or you that have to pay for a spot to be in the mag... Right?

I used to enjoy reading up PC Magazine.
Have not looked at one in years.

I never had any computer subscription magazines when I was growing up (or now). It never really appealed to me.

I used to read them myself when I hung out at bookstores back in the day (I rarely ever bought them though). It was a great way to stay up-to-date on latest technology. I believe our local library offers them still so I may peruse those now that you've mentioned it.

I just read all about what I want to read online nowadays
