I have restarted my computer, used CCleaner, all i know to do.. It uninstalled the previous software/program the other day, but it won't let me uninstall anything else.

Have you tried to do a backup and restore
use the system restore can help go back to a day or two be for the problem started I find that works some times
I hope this helps you

I would try rebooting the system, then try uninstalling whatever it was again and if it fails again restore.

Hmm that is really strange. If you don't have a Restore disc you'll need to call your computer manufacturer and provide them with your Model. When I purchased mine it was about $14.

Try this:
Go to Task Manager and under Processes see if the software you are trying to uninstall is running.

The system was restarted when our power went out for a day and half, so that does not solve the issue. It's not just one program, it is anything I try to uninstall. I may end up having to do a restore.

If I end all system processes, it will result in unstable computer and will crash. =(

Chris, have you tried uninstalling the program through CCleaner?

It can remove programs, but the system uninstaller can't uninstall them, the error is still there. But CCleaner can. =\

Have you tried repairing your registry with CCleaner? That might fix the problem.

I think you have a virus now. Do a deep/full scan with your current anti virus and also do a Full scan for Malware Bytes.

If you have a copy of the Windows 7 install disc, you can try doing a repair install where you run the Windows 7 installer from within Windows 7, and let Windows 7 reinstall your OS. But, you need to re-enter your product key after the install is done.

You can find instructions for Windows 7 repair install at http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/34 ... stall.html

I have vista premium 😛

Edit: solved

You should share with the community what you did to fix the issue. I can learn for future problems if I have to fix a computer with this problem. 🙂

I did system restore back to a week or so before and it fixed the problem. 🙂 Not sure what happen, but I have Teamviewer 5 and 6 and I tried to remove 5 and it done that.
