Computer Speakers

I'm looking at getting some new computer speakers. My only main requirement is that they don't come with a sub-woofer. What computer speakers do you have now? Do you like them? Would you suggest them for others to purchase?

These are the ones I'm looking at now,

Any comments on these speakers? Does anyone have speakers they would suggest?

Ah okay. May I ask why?

Because I live in an apartment, and I don't think my downstairs neighbors would appreciate a subwoofer going off right above their heads. I have a really nice sound system right now. But I have to be careful because my woofer does not shut off. It can only be turned down. It's really annoying to deal with. Sometimes the knob will move even just slightly and the floor will start shaking.

Yeah I get it. I'm in the same situation except there's no one beneath me, just next to me and he doesn't really care since he's not home that often.

I've just upgraded my old speaker set (Logitech w/subwoofer) I had with the Libratone ZIPP (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B017WOOWI2). I have two for my iMac, I'd definitely recommend it. It is a relatively new product, as of about a year ago I think, so not sure how many reviews you will find on it. It's a really good speaker for the price and wirelessly connects via Bluetooth and/or Wifi to any devices that support that format. I switch from connecting it to my computer, to phone, to iPads, etc easily. I'd say the sound is enveloping, like movie theatre audio.

Logitech do good speakers. I like the ones you linked above though 😀

Thank you for the suggestion! Might be a little out of my price range though lol.
