Have you conducted an online webinar for your forum or blog? Webinars are very common for many niche sites, such as internet marketing sites where they want you to sign up for a paid product. The webinar is used to inform about a certain aspect of the niche and do a little soft selling. Many times, the purpose of the webinar is not only to make direct sales but to capture names/email addresses of attendees. Do you think this webinar concept could be applied and used for a forum to get new members interested in joining and posting? And, if you used this idea, how would you adapt it to forum use?
