Contest Ideas and Prizes?

Well I am trying to think of some forum contests that I can hold to make it a little more active and what prizes can I use to reward the winner?

You have to make the prize something people want. Maybe an iTunes gift card? A giftcard to anywhere really. Music CDs, DVDs, video games?

I was thinking like 5USD in the mail 😛

But what about the contest Ideas. I am thinking of adding a BoTM (Book of the month) and MoTM (movie of the month). Any thoughts?

Guys what about a general discussions forum? What can we offer as a prize for members and what kind of contest should it be there?

@Wolfy, what about a collection of books along with a signature from the person who wrote it. I have saw people do that or give them some money like $30 pounds and 1 book they badly want. But if you want to bribe user's in, money would do the job legally.
