As you all know that FIFA World Cup 2010 is not even a month away. Being a football forum, I am looking for new contest to be run during or before the World Cup.
Need your ideas and suggestions. Please help me out!
Idea 1) Predicting the winner of the world cup. Each team can only be picked once so whatever team wins there will only be 1 winner.
Idea 2) Predicting the score of each and every game (or selected games) and members earn 1 point if they get the winner of a game right and get a bonus point if they get the score exactly right. After the final, add up each members score and the person with the higher points wins.
I was just about to say the same....a prediction league. Great fun to be a part of and there are never any members stronger or weaker than the rest, it's a game of chance.
OR
You could try working out a fantasy football league, members chose their 11 world players, they could get 3 transfers a week, each player gets points added or deducted for goal assists, goals scored, goals conceded, injuries etc.....you could make up your own scoring system. Each forum member enters their team into the league and who ever tops the table at the end of the competition is declared winner.
