Contest ideas.

I want to run a contest on my blog but I don't know what kind of contest. I was thinking something along the lines of a comment contest, but those seem to be overdone so I'm looking for other ideas. Also, what kind of prizes should I give out?

The more the comments, the more the entries for the prizes.
Prizes - gift cards, electronics, online discounts, etc etc.

Gift cards is a good one. I'm not sure people would like discounts too much though.

You can definitely hand out gift cards for sure.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. Or straight up PayPal or Bitcoin. Maybe some services from other sites/sponsors. What other types of contests do you see running on blogs though? That's mainly the part that I need help with.

Yeah. contests drive the viewer to interact and engage and get rewarded.
