What Should I Write About?
Content published to the FP Blog is led and controlled by the Marketing Team here at FP and all articles are in-line with our Marketing Mission Statement:
"to improve levels of user engagement, retention and acquisition, through multi-channel marketing, platform disruption and exposure"
Put less formally, we're after content that helps keep users here at FP engaged with fresh content and resources to take-away and utilise on their own sites, to draw new users to the site, and increase exposure of FP through SEO and Organic Traffic - that is, users finding us through Google. All content published will be edited to help match this alignment and will be SEO-optimised to rank highly on Google.

- Social Media Marketing
- Search Engine Optimisation

How Do I Submit My Article?
If you're keen to contribute - whether you have a topic yet or not - then you can get your submission started today! Simply start a Conversation with me, @Cumulus, with the Subject of "Blog Contribution" or similar, and I'll be in touch! Typically the process goes as follows:
- You register your interest in a Conversation with me, @Cumulus
- You propose a topic for approval by myself, or we discuss your interests and work on a topic together
- You work on and then submit your article (>300 words) to me for review
- Your article will be reviewed, detailed feedback written and then a publishing date confirmed (or article sent back to you as a draft with some feedback)
What are the Requirements?
When you register your interest to us as detailed above, and we've agreed a topic for your article, you will receive our "FP Blogging Handbook" detailing some further information about style, format and layout for your article submission. To summarise though we ask:
- The article submitted is unique to FP and not published elsewhere. (No plagiarised content will be accepted)
- The article has >300 words
- The article reads fluently and is written in Standard English - this includes a decent level of spelling, punctuation and grammar. (Though we will proofread and amend as necessary)
