Control Panels that Aren't cPanel

Does anyone think they are harder to deal with? Well, they do lower the cost of the hosting.

Not really. I've used Plesk and Direct Admin and found them pretty much easy to use. Haven't used any other though.

I never used plesk, so I can not tell. Cpanel I have an I don't get lost

My satellite is too slow for file uploading via FTP, so it has to be done via cPanel and zip file compression.

VestaCP and Plex are good alternatives for cPanel.

I used to use cPanel a lot, but these days, I usually opt for good ol' SSH.

It's easier to reason about how pieces of software will interact with each other on the VPS, as there are a lot of... compatibility issues and certain pieces of software which are tricky to setup or outright don't work with cPanel.

DirectAdmin would be next after cPanel, then ajenti-v, i-MSCP, Froxlor, and lastly Webmin.
