Ok. i upload a crap load of matches from my forum, and here lately, somethings happened to where they come out choppy, and wasn't always like that.

what i'm asking, is if i'm using windows movie maker, which the file become .wmv ; how do i convert it to the mpeg , or whatever it's called, for best upload format?

will do!! appreciate the help 🙂

EDIT>>> just checked it out and read about it. looks like EXACTLY what i'm looking for.

thanx, bud!

No problem ~smile~

if it doesn't work out for you, try searching something like "wmv to mpeg converter" in Google and see what matches your fancy ~smile~

it's perfect. i actually went back and edited my post when you were replying. as long as i can download it, should clean up the mess i've been having.

Alright, glad you've found what you're looking for.

Be sure to post if it worked for you. I've been meaning to download one myself for quite some time, let us know what it's like ~smile~

i'm going to REALLY investigate this. don't worry. once i figure out how to convert after downloading ... i'll upload a video in wmv, and mpeg, and see what difference it made

and update ya through the process

ok, it said it was a TRIAL version ... but it has exactly what i need to, just for converting file names. It was very easy to use. the 3 icons above, lets you add, delete, and convert ... once you add all you want, just select which format, then select the third icon above the file names you're converting.

I'm THEE noob, so it should be easy for others to figure out.

here's the default video, they're both only 1 minute long

WMV file

the new MPG file

they're both still grainy, but i can tell the MPG came out alot smoother in certain areas of the video.

Any Video Converter is a good Video conversion tool. It can convert a lot of different formats.

I think you might be able to do it with Quicktime. Might depend on if you are using Windows or Mac OS X though.
