Your Quick Review
Pros:
- I like the overall style of your forum because it's fairly neutral however I think it would be best to make it slightly lighter. The logo is alright, simple but then again you don't have much space where it goes so that's not really a problem. I also like the forum icons as well because they go well, nice work :great:
- I like the chat box that you have on your forum, it's just above the stats box which is a good place to put it because it's not in way of other stuff. It's fairly simple and easy to use and I can see that your members like it so it was a good choice to install it.
- Your forum layout is good, you have many forums for various different subjects which is good to let members to have a choice and more options, however I think you could merge quite a few of them to make the forum slightly smaller.
Cons:
- I think you need a better logo, I know it's a small space however I think if you make it wider to take up more room it will make the first apperience to guests as such better. I would suggest putting some more colour on it as well to brighten the forum up a bit more.
- Your forum layout is good, like I said above but I do think that there are a fair few forums that could be merged and make the forum a lot smaller. Even though most forums are not on the same sub-subject a few could be merged into a main subject forum to cover multiple things so I think you should use a few sub forums.
- I like the style, it works alright but for a general discussion forum I think you need to change it to something a bit brighter and more colourful because at the moment, to be far it is a bit dull. There are lots of phpBB3 styles out there so take a look and get some feedback from the community on your forum as to which to change to.
- I can see that your forum is fairly new, however it's not really that active, I would have thought your forum would have about 500+ posts at the moment, but nontheless it's going alright but you need to increase your activity, and I would personally not have one advert banner scrolling on your forum as it doesn't look so great, I suggest getting more affilates to clear up the space and increase activity.
Final/General Thoughts:
The style and general layout is alright, but it needs to be chanaged to make it more colourful and attractive to new members.
