What do you think this is worth?


Currently 10th on google.com searching "Gaming Forum" 75,000 searches month and 10th for General Forum with 120,000 searches a month.


The domain is http://cooll.net and the website has full SEO done on it to bring it up in ranks on other forums.

I actually would be interested in forums merging with us if any webmasters are interested in working together.

You're actually on page 3 of Google when searching that term.

Also I am confused as to why your website title is "General Forum" which it also says in your banner if you're ranking pretty good with the term "Gaming Forum". A bit confused.

Anyway, on appraisal of website + domain I would say $50-100 if you have a decent amount of active members which I can't really tell.

That's just an estimate, it's hard to say when there are a lot of confusing things about your forum as well as the actual domain not giving the actual idea of what the website could be.

For General forum I am up and down.

$50-$100 sounds about right. The forum seems to have a good amount of post but the problem is the post to thread ratio.

This, in my eyes, reduces a lot of the value.

I think your profit would be on the domain more than anything else.

If you were to sell the whole thing, many would be looking at the database. It would probably fetch $30. The domain is almost worthless by itself because it has no real meaning with the added "l" and the .net can deter many domainers and webmasters.

I guess everyone has an opinion. When speaking in the chatroom on namepros and in general. A lot of people seem to think the domain is worth something. The domain gets a good amount of organic traffic already, which really when you look at it someone would buy it for organic traffic. This month so far we have had 1000+ unique views from google alone.

I understand where you're coming from, and where those others are coming from. But to be honest, I don't believe they would purchase the domain from you, if you placed it on sale, because the domain can only really sell due to traffic. If they happen to purchase it, there are great limitations on what it can be used for. If it is used as a general forum, I don't think it would do greatly because of so many general forums out there. Therefore, the domain really would become wasted for that domainer.

I guess now after you've said it gets that many views, the domain can be of greater worth than what I originally said, but I still believe practically, there wouldn't be too many who would want to buy it. But like you said, everyone has an opinion 🙂

Honestly, I wouldn't offer you anything for your site. It's inactive, and the domain name isn't really desirable.
