Cops was one of those shows that I liked watching, just to see what various police were up to, and the type of people they were going after. Some of the episodes made me wonder why people had to do certain things to get themselves in situations where they would get apprehended by the police, and on camera of all things.
It's very interesting show but there is allot that they can not show on the program and now it's just overrated It's all about what the viewers want to see and that's action, Speed chase and whatnot. But there are just more to that then what meets the eye.
I'm not much of an fan and I only watch the show when I have nothing else to do. It's been years since I last seen an episode.
I use to watch cops all the time. I would watch it and wonder why people would do such things to get themselves in trouble with the law. It just seems easier to follow the rules and stay out of trouble....then you don't have to deal with the consequences that will surely follow.
I don't know if "Cops" airs anymore but I have watched a few episodes of the "LivePD" that everyone else is talking about. I still wonder the same things when I watch that "LivePD" show.
It's still going in syndication on a few channels. There's also a new show that has a similar premise to COPS called LIVE PD. In fact, it's basically COPS just minus the Rastafarian theme music.
