Now that California has declared a state of emergency, the ESA might choose to cancel E3 2020. If that happens, it could have serious ramifications for the annual event, as publishers realize that they don't really need to attend.

Hell, they can't upset the people now since tickets are sold and hotels booking at fully booked lol

It should pump up the dying My Corona band

"muh muh muh, My Corona!" 😀

How old are those guys anyway?

News wise it wouldn't hurt many companies since they can all digital streaming for their events, but it would suck for vendors and those who bought tickets to go there.

well, they might get their money back.. so they should though

Nice joke, but it has been a lifetime dream to go to E3. I'm glad I did in 2005 and 2006. It was awesome. When I went back in 2009, it was lower than the first times. It started to decline after they went "MEDIA only." And then, streaming exacerbated the issue. Microsoft has Mixer, Google has YouTube, Amazon has Twitch, and most information were online.

If you're 16, love video games, it is much, much harder to to be a new person in the industry thanks to the cancel culture everywhere (YouTube, Twitter, Twitch, Facebook, Reddit, etc.). Journalism is dying and these SJW's are exacerbating the issue. Forums are "dying" in general, but there are exceptions to the "rule."

The only way to be truly big in the industry is either eSports, Streaming, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Reddit or another big social media platform that replaces at least one of them.

NBA is now canceled and also travel from Europe - except the UK.
