Do you think Augmented Reality (allows images to be projected using portable devices such as smartphones or tablets, and AR glasses into the physical world) could ever be used in forums? If so, in what ways would it be useful?

I think it would take a lot. I don't think the standard software of today would be able to do it and I don't see XF, VB, or Invision going that way.
I could see Second Life doing something like that if they haven't already.
