Anyone gone out to get tested for Covid-19? My mother recently got tested for it, came out positive, and now she has to stay home for the next 2 weeks. She is in the increased risk group, so I have a feeling it is going to be a little hard for her. My father got it back when they didn't include taste and smell reduction as a symptom, and is still recovering his taste and smell (Feb-May).

I've been tested twice - once voluntarily when I had symptoms a while back (May-June time) and recently took part in a trial for the new 15minute tests.

I've had a fair few friends test positive though but thankfully all recovered after a few days of flu-like illness

My wife has been tested 5 times. I have yet to be tested but will the first sign of any symptoms or exposure risk from work. I don’t do much else.

Welp. Nearly everyone in the house has been tested positive this week. Now I literally cannot go out without disinfecting myself and making sure I am not touching things without protection. Looks like I have to use my disposable gloves when at the store now.

I hope they get better @Joshua Farrell. The good news is on the bright side though people have died from it, the ratio to survive is much higher then the news media makes it look like. The majority of people build their own antibodies and recover before too long. I would get your family to a treatment center immediately though so that you can make sure you get treated.

I hope your mother will get better in a short time. My friend got positive yesterday and he is curing right now, from symptoms there are only taste and smell reduction, fever had one time. Now he is feeling good, but i hope he will cure soon.

I now get to do the actual testing at my community! It's scary thinking "is this the one? Is this the one that changes our lives?"

I had to get tested Wedneday night after coming home early from work. Think it's just flu, but I work at a school so I have to take the test to be safe and sure. Will either find out today or tomorrow.

Ugh, that’s awful. Hope everyone recovers okay.

Only one that’s had it in my house is my mom. She had to so she could get some test done at the hospital.

I have not been tested for COVID yet, but I will do it if I have any symptoms. My girlfriend believed she had symptoms and went and got tested a couple of months ago, but she tested negative.

I got tested this past Wednesday and test came back positive. It felt like they put battery acid on those q-tips they swab your nose with but I got though it. My work basically said I have to stay home until I no longer show any symptoms.

I was supposed to be tested but I didn't go since I didn't work or am leaving the house anyway so, what was the point.
I had no symptoms or anything it was for basketball matches, but since they were canceled I don't need to go.
