Have you had a Covid test done yet? If you need to have surgery the anesthesia organization requires that Covid testing be done prior to the procedure. I am having a surgical procedure on Tuesday and was able to get my Covid testing done today. It wasn't at all what was described on videos where a long swab goes deep into the nasal cavity. I'm used to scopes so I was ready...except my test was a tiny swab barely going into each nostril and the lab tech swirled the swab around a couple times. That's it. I find out before my procedure the results but I don't go out to too many places so I doubt it will be positive unless it's a false positive.

What kind of test was yours if you had one?

HArd to get testing in my country as there is no testing going on. Soooooooooooooooooooooooo

I heard the covid test hurts real bad. I hope I dont have to get it it sounds scary.

England? There is testing in England!

I will be having my second test soon! Most people find the swab down the throat uncomfortable, but i dont have a gag reflex luckily.

Mine was really easy and they don't shove the swab in very deep at all. I was expecting the severe one but didn't get it so I'm relieved.

Well, I know that HNS and important workers get to test. there are no testing near my location

I personally haven't had the test, however I am still social distancing at home 95% of the time and have very very little contact with people outside of my "immediate bubble".

I am waiting for there to be a concern that I may be ill with covid, but until then I am just living my life in the safest way possible at home.

I haven't had a test yet, where I live you have to go to your doctor first with symptoms then they refer you to get a test. No symptoms no test 😛

I take COVID swab everyday. Its a little uncomfortable, but not a major concern xD

I got tested last week (precautionary requirement due to even a hint of symptoms. I work with frequently with elderly people and often have to be face to face with retirees). Here, they treat you almost like a criminal if you're getting tested. It wasn't a good experience at all. I tested negative (thankfully), but I was in quarantee and it took days to get the results back. I had to run in circles for hours on the phone just to get the results.

It didn't really hurt all that badly. The swab was put up both nostrils, but it wasn't painful for me at least. I had no idea it was going to happen. They just took it out and put it up my nose and I was like "okay then" 😛

The hardest part was the secrecy of the test and that nobody from work knew. I wasn't allowed to discuss it and my job didn't disclose. It was noticed when I was gone for several days straight, but it was handled well for the most part. I work on a team of only a few people, so I'm very glad that the test came back negative.

Eh, it was uncomfortable but not painful. I think a lot of people's commentary on it was an entire overreaction.
I had it done about four weeks ago. The worst part was the line, if I'm honest.

I have not and I recently heard people can just be carriers so I should likely get tested tbh.

I haven't gotten tested yet, but both of my parents got tested for it, along with one of my brothers, and my brother in-law. I think my brother that got tested, was told to self quarantine anyways for a couple of weeks, regardless of whether it came back positive or negative, because no one knew if anyone really interacted with the person who had it at work, and didn't mention anything.

I get tested on a regular basis! One of my sister communities, in their state, they’re being required to be tested twice a week.

DAmn, That's good. I haven't even been tested once yet LOL

Same here. @Empire

Unfortunately, as you are well aware the NHS has drive thru testing stationed around various parts of the country.

I don’t have a car so I’m unable to be tested. Self isolation is what we should do when any of us start to display symptoms.

While they are offering free COVID tests at the clinic at my work, I have still not personally taken the test. I have not had any of the symptoms as of yet, so there hasn’t been a reason to get the test.

@Thomasss love the tie! You looked so relieved when it was over 😀

I haven't myself, but my mom does for some tests her doctor wants her to have (nothing major). Sadly hers is the more invasive one. She's not too pleased, plus her nose is rather sensitive and sore due to various issues.
