Error from park wrapper: Using nameservers with the following IPs: xx.xx.xx.xx,xx.xx.xx.xx,xx.xx.xx.xx,xx.xx.xx.xx Sorry, the domain is already pointed to an IP address that does not appear to use DNS servers as sociated with this server. Please transfer the domain to this servers nameservers or have your administrator add one of its nameservers to /etc/ips.remotedns and make the proper A entries on that remote nameserver.

Right, so basically I'm trying to add a domain to my MyBB forum. I'm not exactly sure how to troubleshoot this error and Google isn't giving me any clear answers. 🙁 Does anybody know what's wrong?

It's saying that your domain isn't pointing to your host, You have to find your hosts Nameservers for examples HawkHost's is ns1.Hawkhost.com ns2.hawkhost.com ect..

How do I do that? D: (Sorry, I am a massive n00b at this...)

That would be in your domain registrar's domain preferences. Which registrar are you using?

Okay, I've removed the NAME.com nameservers and added in the hosts nameserver, but I am still getting the same error.

Looks about right. NS (nameservers) won't configure at the touch of a magical button (mouse click). It takes time for the registrar (for you its name.com) to configure and point it to your nameserver.

Since I use NameCheap, it takes about 3 hours, whereas I've seen other registrars take up to a week to configure.

Mmm, okay then. Hopefully it won't take too long.

Thanks for the help folks.

Edit: Okay, the domain works now. 🙂

Does anybody know how I can get http://www.dashingforums.com to work? For some reason it doesn't redirect to the site.

Edit: Nevermind, it's redirecting now. Thanks to all those who helped. 🙂
