Hey, guys. i have heard there is a way to install mods through a cpanel, but i don't know how to do it. i need a very detailed tut for cash, etc.

Thats the only way that I know that you can install mods and stuff.

Open files in the file manager and edit them manually.

It's a pain in the ass to add MODs to phpbb especially for a newbie, so have fun.

The only way to install MODs on a phpBB forum is via the File Transfer Protocol system (FTP). Apart from some MODs that require SQL Data changes which update/add database tables.

When downloading a MOD, it will give instructions on how install the MOD, it is very complex at first but you'll get use to it.

That's because the file manager is exactly the same as an FTP client, just in a web browser 😉

Eventually you'll find it's much easier and much more efficient to use an FTP client.

Nevertheless you've got it now, so solved 🙂
