Crash!

Not really. I have been in a crash as a little kid but that was something that I do not remember, all I know is that I was in the hot crash or damaged car waiting. But end of the day it's an good no no no I have not LOL

Have you ever been in a traffic accident? Was it your fault?

In 2013. I went to McDonald's for lunch. I was driving a 2001 Toyota Highlander back then. I remember that traffic was horrible that day.

I was sitting in the center turning lane.

On my left, there was a row of cars sitting in that one lane going up the street. The way was clear in the other lane on my right which was down the street. So I started to get into the right lane going down the street to avoid the traffic so I could get on the highway and get back to work. Just as I was doing that, this woman sitting in traffic in the left lane pulled out and started driving up the center turning lane where I was going into the other lane. She pulled out from behind the rows of cars and slammed into my right rear door. She told the cops I pulled out in front of her. That was not true. I had been sitting in the center turning lane for 5 minutes so I could safely get into the other lane. It was her fault.

Anyways, the cop said because I was sitting in that center turning lane waiting to go, it was legally my fault and slapped me with a ticket.

I was looking at getting a fine, having my license suspended, and going to driving school. It was one big friggin mess. Fortunately, my mother was good friends with the judge and she told him my story and he dropped it effective immediately. All I had to do was pay my insurance deductible and have my vehicle towed off to a body shop for repairs.

I came off a motorbike, face first, no helmet as a very young teenager which taught me a valuable life lesson. Since then I've been driving for 46 years and never had an accident.
