Crazy Idea?

I am really getting into all the 30 minute sitcom shows on TV now for some reason. Do you think a forum on these shows would do good idea? Or am I nuts?

Keep in mind I have no idea if forums are already being done on this subject.

It is an easy market to get in to, because it is such a specific subject matter. But, once you are in it, it is hard to keep it going because eventually the show either dies out or you reach the max amount of people that really pay attention to that show. In my experience they can be great short term, but not long term.

What if you did it for all sitcom shows? Old and new shows. Liike have a section for *Retired Shows* and/or *Canceled Shows*. A section for *Running Shows* and *First Year Shows*. Or something like that.

I liked Married with Children back in the day. The forum could have a contest by picking a episode to watch. Once the old episode airs, you have a winner. Maybe to show proof, that person needs to show the TV listing or something.

that's not a bad idea. and maybe you should also allow users to download episodes.

I am not sure I would want to get into the whole download episodes thing.

maybe linking to watch online would be less gray-area.

The idea sounds pretty good in my opinion.

Most of the newer shows have websites you can watch the episodes the day after they air.

I have a Xenforo lic. I could use for this. Have the hosting. Just need a domain. What is holding me back is I am about to release a game site in beta stage. Not sure what type of time I could put into this right off the bat.

I guess I will think about some more.
