Create clone site

As the title says! can it be done? and why would you make an clone website.

I did it before by simple as copy and past but then end of the day I did an clean install.

clone as in clone. Some do if for the sake of having an secound website for testing

Their are some premium clone scripts on the net but now days to clone a site is a lot harder than it was back in the 90's for sure.

Are you talking about having a second version of a site for testing? You can easily copy the files to a new directory, import the primary database into a secondary one, change some of the files, and you're done.

Why would you create a whole website just to store things on? May as well just use some FTP or cloud storage IMHO. 🙂

They're 'offline' and are basically carbon copies of the forums they were meant to clone. I don't do cloud storage, at least not for things related to forums.

Pardon me but I don't seem to understand the rationale of a clone site. For testing, okay, but do you need an actual site for testing purposes? Anyway, cloning an active site is not an easy task.
