I used to use this software, or rather host, about two years ago however I never really cared for the themes that it had. It had some nice themes, but they were not my cup of tea. That, and the fact that I could not add my own domain, I was stuck with the subdomain so that was a huge downfall (which they have added as an option now), however overall I like the software, it's really nice and easy to manage, I just wish it was more customizable than it is now.
Never heard of it before. I assume that's SMF, haven't touched that solution for a long time. Looks like any other generic forum host, though I'd be unable to state just how good (or mediocre) the service is.
I have used it before. They have great hosting and a great forum software, but could expand some more and give it's users more room to do what they want. There was never any downtime or other trouble with the forum, recommend it for someone starting out if they don't want to pay for hosting and don't mind a sub domain.
What is it, a SMF hosting site? I guess it is fine to work with, but I wouldn't expect much out of it, unless they let you modify each individual forum that is hosted, so that you can make it different than what they have to offer on it.
Nope, I never tried it. I haven't even heard of it before today. It just seems like a free SMF hosting site but I much rather get some hosting and host an SMF forum myself. I also think in terms of design, there is space for improvement.
I think I may have used it once in the past. Just for a test or something. I don't really like the SMF layout, personally. Good for those who are starting a new forum. 😀
I personally think it's an okay host. SMF is a pretty decent forum software, the only downfall is lack of styles. However I think it's okay for beginners to use, but for people looking for a free host I suggest jcink since you can actually make database backups and move your forum if you ever want or need to branch out. Creataforum is much better than SMF for free, since SMF for free still uses a outdated version of SMF...
