Creating a webmasters discussion forum!

Hi everyone, I'm in process of creating a webmaster discussions forum, I've got the domain and hosting as well.

Now I do think I'm gonna need some help along my way, so please suggest anything you can.


I'm thinking of using mybb as forum software, do you think it's a good choice?

If you want to run a webmasters forum you must first experience being a webmaster. You can't create something you need help to build upon, go out and talk to some pro's like Fergal or try Googling some stuff.

MyBB is fine if you're going the free route. You're going to have some stiff competition though...

nope, but what's the point of a unique niche when no one is going to be interested in it?

And @unknown error I've been a webmaster for a long time of various forums so I know what to do. Still don't mind asking for help as no one know it all no matter how experience.

There are too many of them already.. but if you can do something that makes you better than the rest, have at it.

My advice pick a diffrent niche, i started a webmaster forum a few weeks ago , promoting it and getting members is not easy , there is way to many bigger webmaster forums out there to chose from, but thats like any niche your always competeting , just my 2 cents.
