Hi guys, I created a blog and I got slightly some idea about it, now I would like to create a forum. creating a new forum is also as easy as creating blog?

In a way Forums are a lot easier to work with than Blogs specially when installing, upgrading and updating etc.

That's relative, I guess. It depends on how much you want to customize the blog or forum. Both can be complicated. Or if you prefer to use it in a simple way, both can be simple enough. I'm more familiar with forums so I prefer using it than a blog, but that's me. XD

Some hosts you get will have auto installation scripts for forum softwares, and then you can just go on the support forums for that software for further information! 🙂

Creating a forum isn't terribly hard.
Running one is the harder part with all of the things which you have to juggle around which can be fairly time consuming.

That is the main part. Running and maintaining a constant posts throwing out all the spams is the main part of a forum.

I wouldn't put a whole lot of faith into auto-installer scripts like Fantastico or such. They have the potential to induce very odd bugs. The last time I decided to be lazy and use it, I was permanently logged into my account without being able to logout, and some features were even broken. The software is also frequently out of date. For instance, I believe Fantastico installs the 1.6.2 of MyBB. MyBB's current version is 1.6.11.

It's best to just rely on manual installation. It's really quite easy, and doesn't take more than 5 or 10 minutes. Just do a bit of research, follow instructions, and you'll be fine.
:great:
