I also like that show, but the poor banner and lack of posts turns me off.

Some things you will want to do is get some discussions going in each board, that way new users will have something to chat about. They won't do all the work for you!

I also would recommend requesting some packages we have here at FP, one that is designed for beginner forums would be best.
 
Great is the package area in the exchange section? I can't find anywhere.

Well I would that after the forum has been fairly active. I don't want to shell money to something that might not last.
 
The idea is that guests will see that you are dedicated enough to get a domain.

Well now that you say it. I'm setting up a domain and we be moving to MyBB seeing as everyone loves that software.
