Forum Pros:
The banner is actually pretty good for the forum. Red is a good color, of course, for Crimson. Though, it doesn't seem to match anything on the forum.
Activity is suprisingly very good for only opening the forum just recently. Seems there's plenty driving in new members and discussion in such a short period of time.
Forum Cons:
Too much one tone in the forum design. It's too gray all around. I really think you should experiment with some coloring. Your category color bordering, might actually work well with red. Would match the name, and banner of the forum; and add an extra touch or separation from one category to the next.
Some Board layout issues with the forum. For one, I would place your new members board at the bottom of your top category. I know it'd still be in the same order, but it's always best to have your new members board place in the top category.
The Gamin section seems really sporadic. The 3 biggest, most discussed consoles should be placed up top, and on top one another. I really don't under stand why Sega is placed above nintendo, or xbox? It might be ok to leave PC up top; but i recommened moving Sega tot he bottom, at least.
And, I don't se a problem with adding Music in with the other tv, movie, actor category, and just making it an Entertainment category for all genres of entertainment.
Final/General Thoughts:
The forum is off to a good start. There's just a few flaws in the forum design and layout; that i feel might help give the forum a more professional look that members, and guests of the forum, will take notice in.
What was most liked about the website/forums:
Tha activity was very good for a newly opened forum. Good job on gaining great stats so far.
What was disliked most about the website/forums:
The style of the forum body. Was just one colored, and didn't really show much creativity or much effort put into the forum design.
