Your Forum Review

First Impressions & Appearance - (Out of 20)
I’m sorry, but that banner is not working for me. The red of the text blends way too much with the background. I get that it’s “crimson” but it should be at least a different hue. That way it pops out more. As far as your skin, I like it. It matches the name of your forum well. It’s a lot like the skin default to MyBB, but that’s fine, it still looks nice. I love the stripes in the background, they look good. I also like the mix of light and dark on your forum, they work together nicely. The benefit to having a lighter foreground is that your icons thankfully don’t have pixellation on them. The overall color scheme is nice, it blends black, white, gray, and red quite nicely and comes together for an overall good skin. I also like your favicon.

Site Layout - (Out of 20)
I’m not a huge fan of your layout. First off, your skin isn’t fluid. It’s not as some of the other skins I’ve seen, but it’s still frustrating, especially on larger screens. Second, your forum layout needs improvement. More forums is not always better. First off, “Feedback” and “Problems and Suggestions” could be merged, they’re like the exact same thing. Second, is “Tutorials” really even necessary? There’s already a well-written Help section. Next, to get rid of some excess boards, you could eliminate “PS2 Games Discussion”, “Xbox Games Discussions”, “Nintendo 64 Games Discussions” and “Sega Games Discussion” and create one large Legacy Gaming forum. Why? It gets rid of unneeded boards, and those legacy system boards are not very active at all. Let’s talk about the good layout elements now, though. Having the user info at the top isn’t standard for many forums, but really does grow on you and can look very nice. Second, I love the navigation on your forum. Very simple and user friendly.

Statistics and Activity - (Out of 20)
You have around 5,000 posts. That’s good for 2 to 3 months of being open. 97 members is also excellent. Collectively, your staff as a whole has made only 1,000 posts. That is NOT a bad thing. That is good, meaning you have 4,000 genuine posts from other members. That’s something you need to have. It also ensures new members aren’t intimidated by the amount of staff posts. Definitely keep up the good work. The only problem in this section is that some of the gaming forums and the Videos forum have very few posts. You should do post exchanges or something and ask those forums be focused on.

Staff Moderation - (Out of 20)
I would not consider you overstaffed. Three staff members is a good number for a forum of your size. As I mentioned above, none of them had too many (meaning literally too many, not as in little) posts. One staff member though seems to spend most of their posting time on the forum games board, which isn’t the board that really should be focussed on by staff. If anything, you need staff to post OUTSIDE there to get activity in actual discussion built up. That’s minor though. All of your staff were active and professional. Very nice work, all three of you.

    Spelling/Grammar & Professionalism - (Out of 20)
I did notice some errors. I will point them out here.
“Anything which does not fit into the other category's should be posted here.” should be, “Anything which does not fit into the other categories should be posted here.”
“New to the forum?...Take a second to introduce and write a little note about yourself.” should be, “New to the forum? Take a second to introduce, and write a little note, about yourself.”
“For all Manga and Anime, One Piece, Deathnote, Bleach e.x.” should be, “For all manga and anime; One Piece, Deathnote, Bleach, etc.”
“Found an awesome video on youtube and want to share/discuss it with the community? Post it here - Read the stickie before posting!” should be, “Found an awesome video on YouTube and want to share/discuss it with the community? Post it here - Read the sticky before posting!”
“Discuss music and albums here. New and old!” should be, “Discuss music and albums here; new and old!”

I think you get the idea. Some other ones had spelling problems but those should give you a good idea of what to fix.
