I think you have made the size to big. As not when you add the render you have to much space that hasnt been filled. Also the colours dont mix, red and black do not mix well and then the text doesnt suit it either.

Have you placed a C4D in the background? If so that is probably the only thing that does fit.

What? The size if fine because its a football signature? There is no different sizes depending on what you make. Your "sig" is 500px by 200px...thats bloody big and most forums dont accept something of that size. Also i meant C4D, also there is still to much room, there is a big empty space on the right and it doesnt look right like that. Plus as i said the spacey theme with a footballer doesnt work out well...not how you have depicted it. Text i cant really comment on much as i suck at text thats why i never put any on now. All i can say is view some tuts, there are some really good ones out there for GIMP users.

Well if went to swapitshopboards-graphics and the graphics said 500x200 for football sigs.

Well the text is lowered in ocapity.

And the tuts I have found have nothing that is really good.

I have never seen anyone on any graphics forum say there are certain sizes for graphics. And i usually hang around the Planet Render forums.

Plus the text not fitting is that it doesnt blend with the sig correctly. I mean the only one of mine where the text worked is this one, its not the focal point but it fits with the sig.

I would take advice from people on this forum, especially Van1lla ™, they happen to know what they are talking about ;-)

As for your graphics it should be around 400 X 130, something around that, the fact that its a football sig has nothing to do with the size of it.

My sig size varies from 350 x 150 to 350 x 115

Make it like half the size like Van1lla sig size, the more space you have the more you need to add effects etc... and even pros of photoshop will struggle or take time to make that.

LESS SPACE = MORE CONCENTRATION ON EFFECTS.

In this case if you want to add the whole of the render of Ronaldo you might want to make a vertical signature.

Work on a background that blends in with the renders primary colour and/or secondary color.

BTW, Ronaldo used to be my god now ima go slap him for moving to Madrid.

You can do a lot with GIMP, you just got to try harder... trust me I know people that have work better than mine and i use photoshop and they gimp...

Gimp is better than photoshop is my opinion. I have CS4 and Gimp, but I have done a lot in Gimp- And you can do a lot like you said- I saw a tutorial showing how to make a Iphone.

concept is good but it lacks detail and overal precision. he sig itself is wayy I'm gessing it was on a black background and you used screen or lighten ... always get rid of any straightedges for thing slike tht! lol

colour wise its a good balance 🙂 but i would ahve done somehting to the ball to add movement... just my opinion though 😀
