Critique my WIP Far Cry theme

I am making a Far Cry fan forum I think, started working on a design today, edited from AlphaGaming (http://community.mybb.com/mods.php?action=view&pid=88)

Here is a preview:

What do you like and not like? Where can I improve?

I am still very early in development, started only a few hours ago and so I will be refining things much more over coming times.

I think it will look better if you put the logo in the center and make it bigger. It might also be better if you add some space between far and cry. However, it is looking great so far. 😀

I know nothing about FarCry, but the only part of the theme that seems to be conveying a message of Farcry is the header (and markers?).

The only thing that stands out as off for me is the font in the banner. I don't particularly like the font choice and the styles applied just don't flow well with the rest of the theme. Granted, that's my opinion. I think it would look better if the letter were all the same line height. Maybe a small shadow instead of the outline would make it pop better too.
