I believe they are down because of legal action or DDOS. it appears that there is a lot of chat from the owner of crunchhost.com about taking legal action, and I'm not sure if it has.

The owner of crunchhost.com went to Softlayer about the issue and that might be why they are not up and it appears that crunch-host.com might of being using a mulled version of IPB. not sure, hard to understand this situation. I can tell you that crunchhost.com was getting DDOS with 50-100mb/s.

And please note when I'm saying crunchhost.com I don't mean crunch-host.com 😉

Who was around first? If it was DDoS on both sides I think both should be down as it's illegal no matter what.
