One of the best films I've ever seen. Yes, as mentioned in another thread, it's another one of those "white savior narratives", but it's not cheesy in the least bit. However, though, I feel like they could have just chopped off the end of it. In that case, it would be like the ending on American Werewolf in London. Long drawn out endings are not better.
OK, Kevin Kline's acting? It's superb as well as the others - and an incredible amount of suspense throughout.
