Your Quick Review
Forum Pros:
Now, at first, i was thrown off by your banner, cause 3 images don't usually look good. But then i realized these were from the three differetn CSI shows. They do go well, except maybe the middle pic, CSI:Miami ... may need a pic with a darker background, to match up with the forum, and the first pic beside it. The third pic actually works, but i think the bright white for the middle really throws off the banner.
The skin looks really good, and perfectly themed for this forum. And I'm really impressed with your knowledge on how to organize a forum, you're obviously not new to this sort of thing.
One of the first things i liked, and wanted to compliment on, were the forum icons. Ilike the use of the badges, and most of all, i like the CSI detectives badge at the bottom, where forum statistics are located.
Forum Cons:
While, your Board layout is great, one thing is, i think you slightly over did it with the CSI sections. I honstely think "spoiler" would be best in the general discussion section; since it does fall into that section. Most of the shows are in their 3rd season, or higher, so there's not really much spoilers left. And if members respect the community, they'll make sure to note a spoiler in their topic title, or at the beginning of their topic.
And, not really anything bad, but justa suggestion. Maybe have some clever category titles for the non-CSI setions. Like the top category could be "Case File Briefing" ; Reception Desk aslo works for that. And, for off-topic, maybe something like "Case File Closed" ... since these sections come after the forum's theme, about CSI,detective shows.
What was most liked about the website/forums:
The Board set-ups, and how well they were organized right from the start. The skin also was a nice touch, for the forum's theme.
What was disliked most about the website/forums:
It's probably just me, but the bright white pic for CSI: Miami in the banner seemed to really stick out.

It really looks like it's going to be a great site, and there's a ton of CSI fans across the world. I just never really liked detecticve shows myself. But, once you get the Boards filled with great topics, and find your target audience, I'm sure you'll have no trouble convincing true fans of the show to sign up.
