CSS Theme for Wordpress Issue - Help!

I have been working on a customized theme for a wordpress site I have been working on, and I can't figure out why the background is white.

Anybody here good with CSS, and have any idea why my background is white instead of #AB9D73? Any help is appreciated!

My only guess is your problem is this:

}

I don't know what the hell that is, but it might be the problem, maybe not.

Just make sure the "background" you are referring to is the body not a div, if it's a div then you must define that divs background in the css. Like a #content, or #container, or #wrapper.

I got rid of that, doesn't really do anything. Had no affect though, still white.

That's the only issue in your CSS that I see

Awesome! It works now. The biggest thing I was missing was the damn ; after the BG color. But I felt like a dupe and added the background-color too so I'm not sure which of those fixed it.

Either way it works now. I did change the content bit too, changes the size of the columns I have.
