Custom 404

Hey guys, I just made a custom 404 page. What do you guys think? Instead of users getting a page not loading or not found, I made the 404 to make it seem more professional.

I have one as well, it looks good but it's always nice to go the extra mile. 😉

Anyway, good job though, it's always good to have a few like 404, 403 and 500 etc.

Yeah, I will be working on it to make them better. That was just something fast.

I think it would be better if you had a link back to the homepage and forum (if you have one) but keep the email address there as well.

They're pretty common nowadays. I know you're a hosting site, but why not add a bit of creativity: http://www.smashingmagazine.com/2007/08 ... -reloaded/ Of course you want that page to be less seen than most others, but people know they've reached a "404" when they are not seeing what they want to see.

Anyway, if that doesn't work out, maybe just add a contact form or even sitemap to make things easier to use.

Thanks David for the nice ideas for a 404 page. 🙂 I will possibly work on getting those more creative when I have the free time.
