Acidtech was becoming overused when it was on FP.

I would say AcidTech was being overused everywhere a few months back, it eventually got boring to see it. That's the problem with CyberAlien's styles...he does so well on them that everyone wants to use them ~lol~

CyberAlien's styles are just fads really. Theyre so popular, and then no one wants them all of a sudden lol. Keeps him on his toes anyway.

My VB skin is more or less custom now. It started as the default VB3.7.x skin and I've been editing it for 6 months now and it doesn't look much like it anymore :lol:

However I don't think that they are all that needed, my forum started on phpBB2 and didn't move from subSilver until it had well over 100,000 posts. Content matters more than looks for most people

Yes it is cool to have your own custom skins for your forum... it will be like the admin has worked hard on his forum

I'm not a fan on that many of them- too many are full width.

FP has a custom made theme and we will be getting a new custom made theme very soon! 😀

The owner made a custom made theme; he coded it all by himself. I imagine it must have taken a long while. It's a light Xenforo theme. If I had the coding knowledge, I would make one myself. 😛
