Apart from the theme being blue instead of purple to me it looks similar.

Not stating it's a rip; just that I am a fan of the theme and am one of this theme also. 🙂

Nope. They are entirely different in my view. Hack forums theme is a purple version of MyBB's theme. Also its a darker theme, whereas mine is a lighter one. You might also see a major difference in header and footer too.
