How do you customize your forum? Do you add in extra plug-ins? Add more themes? Change the look?
I try to keep mine minimal. Since I’m not into tech, less I have, less can go wrong & I have to get help for 🙂

I have and did it in the past with addons and then that addon becomes dead and unsupported and then you end up not using it anymore 🙁 then you just go back to what it was from the start 🙁

I'm trying not to add too many addons, especially ones that take away from the forum.

I'm trying to keep the main feature, and one of the only features, the actual forum itself.

I do use a custom theme and either a custom logo or text-based logos.

Minimal is best, though. But unique looking minimal is better. 😎

I am not a techie person either, I usually build sites from pre-built themes and templates and try to customize them with add-ons and plugins. If I encounter any issue, I start asking on google.

I will add a new theme and also add some add-ons to a forum that I feel would benefit the forum but I don't tend to go overboard. I feel if you have too much going on then people can get easily confused. As long as I have a theme that is clean looking and professional looking then I am happy with that. If I have the funds to do so as well I will in most cases invest in a theme for the forum so that we have a more unique look.
