Take this in the spirit it is intended, please, which is some friendly advice from one forum administrator to another.

Overnight success is not guaranteed. You posted elsewhere something along the lines of “we are back and ready to take over the forum world.” This doesn’t endear you to people, it causes eye-rolling and disbelief that someone could think so highly of themselves. Look up the word ‘hubris’. You’re an unknown quantity here and you have asked for a post exchange. Someone has considered everything and offered to exchange. Your reply is completely unrealistic and unreasonable. Most people don’t post 50 times on their own forum each day. And, importantly, neither do you! Your forum has 85 posts currently.

A 3/3 is a very reasonable offer and really you should have accepted that offer when it was made. Your forum is very light on content. You’re not going to get a better daily offer than 3/3. Also, given the quality of the content on your boards I would be concerned about doing a post exchange with you. It needs to be high quality or it’s pointless.

And finally, since I’m here. Your attitude around here puts people off. Making demands of people, insulting people, generally pissing off the staff of the forum, nobody wants to associate with someone like that. You’re lucky that @Baw$e gave you the time of day. Many others would not.

Running a forum is hard. Resources like the forum promotion community are vital to the success of an early forum. Treat people with respect around here. It’s a rare case that people get a second chance to make a first impression. I hope for your sake you get a second chance because first impressions were terrible.

Good luck taking over the forum world. You’re gonna need it.

i didn't start off on the right foot here and you sure are right about that and it was a silly mistakes and i already apologize to you and everyone else involved. privately. i would appreciate a second chance and hopefully we can take it from there and move towards being more positive.
