Dallas Officer Shooting

Anyone hear of this tragic event? Happened last night, according to the news, at least 10 officers were shot, 5 of which were killed during an ambush at a peaceful protest.

Two of the shooters were snipers at an elevated location.
The people are in custody
The attack was coordinated and suspects were found carrying enough ammunition to last a decent amount of time.

This is just plain horrible. Being against cops doesn't mean you can go all for killing them. Not every single cop is a racist bigot, and its a shame people are stooping so low as to kill cops.

I have my opinions about all of this, although it wouldn't be appropriate to share on here. I think this stuff is terrible. It's sad when something like this happens on a monthly basis.

So I hadn't noticed this topic until now.

They had the services.

I actually know one of the officers who died. Along with knowing one of the injured officers. And then basically my 2nd father was called down there to help. We were up until 6AM that morning waiting for him to come home.

It's been an emotional rollercoaster.

The sad thing is, I went to school with the shooter. I knew him when I was like 11 years old. It's crazy just how much life changes everything for people.
