Dark Theme for a gadget forum?

Would using a dark theme for a gadget forum be a good or bad idea? Should I just get a light theme?

I feel a lighter theme is more appropriate for a gadget forum but you could always go with a dark light theme... That may not make sense but there's ways of making a dark theme come across as light 😛

Overall though, a lighter theme would suit it better.

I'd go with a dark theme, I think it'll look better, imo. Just make sure it has some colors in like red, which would work well with greys and blacks.

I would go with a light theme, but make sure its not one that has been used a 1000 times before. If you can't find a theme that isn't widely used then maybe you should try the darker theme. There is no harm in trying.

A dark theme is always better for gadget related forum. A would prefer a dark theme with multiple gadget images wherever possible.

It honest depends on how it really looks, dark themes can look great with certain colors, fonts, graphics, etc.

Light themes usually work for any forum, so if the dark doesn't work out, the light should definitely fix it.
