Its a bit of SEO and SERPS optimizing which Nathan is doing. Forum Promotion is a major keyword/phrase, so building up alt text links with Forum Promotion will get him up that page.

I already rank well enough for Promotion Source, thus I don't need it, and am currently getting up my ranks for Forum Promotion which is high search term for the traffic I want. Once ive got the SERP for Forum Promotion ill move on to another and keep them both as high as possible through various means 🙂
