Premise: three men and three women are moved into opposite wings of a stately home. After an initial group meeting, they are given the opportunity to make dates with members of the opposite sex if they find any of them to be interesting. The initial meeting and all subsequent dates are carried out in complete darkness.

Everyone is forced to get to know their dates' personalities, only finding out what they look like near the end of the show--just prior to making the choice whether or not they want to pursue a relationship. It sort of redefines a blind date.

Would you ever do this?

I watched this show tonight. I thought it was pretty interesting.

I think it's quite interesting and does force both parties to value one another by who they are and not there looks which one would assume (because I've never watched this) that it makes a lot more accurate of feelings and who fits better with who really doesn't it? I think the concept of the show quite a good idea.

It takes away any preconceived ideas we have about looks and you hopefully get the personality coming through, it also puts everyone at an even level to start with.

I have never seen this, it sounds interesting.
I don't think I would do it though.

No, I wouldn't do it.

In today's society, looks are all that matter (apparently and unfortunately).

Exactly, sounds like a great idea 🙂 I'd do it.

Probably the only way I'd find someone
