Days off from work

For those of you that have a job. What days are usually your days off?

At my job I have Thursdays and Sundays off. At first I didn't like it too much but now I love it as it splits the week up a little bit.

I have a Saturday and Sunday off from work, but usually have to work for emergencies.

I don't think I would enjoy 2 days off which are far apart. I am fortunate to have the weekend for my days off because we can use it to take a short vacation starting on a Friday night. And if we stay at home, at least I have 2 whole days to do house chores and other loose ends for personal matters. However, there are times that we have work on Saturdays when there is a project that is delayed.

My days off vary from week to week since I don't have the benefit of a set schedule. Most of the time, my days off aren't together either but I've come to accept this. Like Canadian, I breaks up my week and it makes it not seem so long in between a day off which is nice.
