Would you tough out a mild ddos attack or change hosts? How long of an outage due to ddos can you stand for your website?

Not to long ago there was a bad attack on Zeta, after 3 days, a lot of people were ready to pull the plug

One full day is the max to able to be back on. Again!

Good hosts subsidies the attack and there is a minimum of outage, say around 10 minutes. A whole day downtime is weird and total loss to a hosting business.

If your host can't handle being ddos'ed then it might be time to switch. If it does happen and the host goes down for more than a few hours at a time, that's not good. Other hosts can do better.
